You may remember Josh Haynes from season 3 of The Ultimate Fighter. He did very well on the show, making it to the finals where he was finished by everyone’s favorite Brit Michael Bisping. Bisping won the season and went on to a solid UFC career.

Haynes went on to an interesting career. He kept fighting in the UFC for a while, then was cut and went on to fight in some lesser promotions. He also went on to other reality TV series.

Apparently he was on some show called, ‘Ty Murray’s Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge’. He is also a police officer in Las Vegas and is on yet another reality TV show, this time featured on ‘Vegas Strip’.

Wow — do they really need so many cops for a guy that took a swig of someone else’s beer? Seems pretty redonkulous. But good for Haynes. While he didn’t make it big in MMA, he’s got a solid gig and finds his way to the tee-vee on all these goofy shows.

“That’s not enough ball to fight me next week!” – Michael Bisping

Michael Bisping is one of the best interviews in MMA, as well as one of the best trash talkers.

In this interview with HDNet’s outstanding ‘Inside MMA’, Bisping tells Kenny and Bas that Sonnen takes PEDs because he has just one testicle.

The Sonnen vs. Bisping fight is a must-see, and it’s free on Fox this Saturday night, live from Chicago at 8pm ET. Rashad Evans will take on Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis in the main event. You can also catch all the prelim fights on Fuel TV beginning at 5pm ET.

Hey, look! It’s another goofy radio host asking an MMA fighter to choke them! Derpin’ ain’t easy, but somebody gotta do it.

This time it’s Jim Norton asking movie star and MMA hottie Gina Carano to choke him out. To the videotape…

Norton said, “When I tap, stop though, and I’m gonna tap quickly.”

As our friends at Chicago’s MMA wrote: “C’mon man — either get choked out or don’t! Gina should have left that on tight until he went to sleep!”

Exactly. Don’t ask for it and then stop right as it starts. Own your pain, mang!

Check out this crazy knockout in women’s MMA, from a promotion called ‘Brace For War’ in Australia. Crikey, mate — you’re not gonna believe what happened! This is Bec Hyatt vs. Rhiannon Thompson.

I think it’s great how the chick that delivered the knockout kick was a bit stunned that she won. It was almost like it took some time to register that she actually KO’d the other fighter.

‘Brace For War’ bills itself as ‘Australia’s most exciting mixed martial arts event’. I dig it.

Jose Aldo does everything in epic style. Aldo’s killer knee knocked out Chad Mendes at UFC Rio last Saturday, and then he put on this epic and insane post-fight celebration, celebrating with his fellow Brazilians.

If Aldo wants to, he could be a two-division champion at both featherweight and lightweight. Yes, he’s that good.

ESPN’s ‘E:60′ is a magazine-style program that also features investigative reporting. In their most recent episode, they look into the issue of fighter compensation, as well as the claims of the UFC being a monopoly.

Is the NFL a monopoly? NBA? MLB? It has long been rumored that the FCC is investigating the UFC for possibly being a monopoly, but it seems pretty foolish at first glance. There are literally hundreds of places where fighters can fight professionally in this country, as well as major promotions across the world. Is it the UFC’s fault that those promotions are not as successful?

The UFC also recorded the interview and they are posting clips that did not make the ‘E:60′ show. Like this one, where Lorenzo Fertitta debunks the issue of fighter pay.

Jose Aldo retained his featherweight title Saturday night in electric fashion. Chad Mendes tried to take down Aldo and keep him up against the cage, but could accomplish neither. Aldo turned off the cage for an amazing MMA highlight that will be seen for many years.

He also had one of the most memorable post-fight celebrations. As soon as the fight was stopped, Aldo ran out of the cage and into the crowd. The Brazilian fighter was swarmed by the crowd, and it was several minutes before security could get him back in the cage.

There’s no question that Aldo is the most exciting fighter in MMA, especially with Anderson Silva injured again.

While they were doing motion captures on the UFC fighters for the new UFC Undisputed video game, the computer nerds thought they would have a little fun. They tried to trick all the fighters into doing the ‘Hokey Pokey’. But UFC heavyweight Frank Mir was in on the joke and turned the tables on the unsuspecting joker. And he almost made him poop himself.

OK, you sorta know how they make fight scenes in movies more realistic. But let the experts take it from here. Bas Rutten and Johnny Strong from ‘Sinners and Saints’ show us how to pull punches for the silver screen in this clip from Inside MMA on HDNet.

The lovely and talented Gina Carano has a new movie coming out on January 20th called “Haywire”, an action/thriller from director Steven Soderbergh.

She’s been all over the place promoting the new film, taking in premieres and even dancing for you at UFC 141. She even did this hot shoot for GQ. Check out the Gina Carano pics and the video.
