Chuck is has been crucial to the success of MMA and the UFC. He is a likable fighter that has had a great career but unfortunately his time is over. He has been given several tries and he just can’t keep up with today’s multi dimensional fighters. He is a striker and will be remember as one of the great one but you need so much more than that win today. The fighters keep improving, who know when it will top out.

Chuck had an awesome run, and he’s a true legend of the sport, but he should leave the fighting aside and get more involved with UFC from the side lines. Guest Commentator? trainer?

I personally think chuck got knocked out and he got caught and it happens in mma. They took two of the top 5 kickboxer in the world and let them fight Da someone got knocked out what did you expect. This is what Dana wanted to give the fans a knock out and have a reason to kick chuck out of jealousy or fear or love I am not sure but it is misplaced cause chuck looked awesome and his momentum and rich arm knocked him out . It was a real hit it wasnt evens or rua barly grazing him it was like rampage hit. THis hit would knock anyone out. Dont judge him by a blow that would knock anyone out judge him by his fight. His head movement his speed his power and agilieness was better than ever. In america when you work hard you get rewarded chuck worked hard he showed dana he was better than ever and if dana dont let him fight then strikeforce will fedor vs chuck or chuck vs overeem who he once beat. That being said yes chuck needs to change things when fighting kickboxer dont ever let hands down or chin up leave it tucked the whole time. Any wrestler or jujitsu guy chuck could still beat the breaks offf of TITo , coleman, randalman. matt hammill, coture, etc but he needs to get a tweaked game plan for kickboxers or strikers. jackson,rua, jardine, etc
