The Best Fatso Fighter On the Planet
Longtime MMA fans know all about Roy Nelson. He was the heavyweight champion of the now defunct IFL. He’s renown in the MMA community for his excellent set of skills, if not his enormous belly. Now newer fans know this too: that Nelson is no gimmick, not just another pretty chubby guy. As Joe Rogan recently said, “Roy Nelson is no joke”.
Nelson got into the UFC by competing in the “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show. He beat up internet sensation Kimbo Slice and Brit James McSweeney to get to the finals. Once there he knocked out former NFL player Brendan Schaub. Most recently he knocked out 6’11″ Stefan Struve.
“Big Country” is 15-4 and will now start to face the upper tier, if not the elite of the UFC’s heavyweight division. He’s kind of a hero to the everyman. His physique looks like many of the people watching him on TV. He loves fast food. And he beats up stronger, better conditioned fighters. Here’s a look at the best fat fighter in the world, Roy Nelson.
