He was never a champion, and has just slightly better than average record, but one of the most entertaining personalities to ever grace PRIDE was Minowa. The guy was an absolute joy to watch in almost every fight, and his willingness to bang with guys 2, even 3 times his size was remarkable. Please give some props to Minowaman!

Much respect to Bas, but Matty is right in that Bas never fought in PRIDE.

Chev- n00bs can be condescending, but I meant as an endearing term here -lol. The Cage Doctors indeed caters to the new MMA fan. We do offer analysis but mainly leave the hardcore, day to day meat to sites that do it best– Bloody Elbow, 5 Oz. of Pain, MMA Junkie, Sherdog, MMA Weekly and so on.

We try to spotlight more of the pop culture side, but I like to think there is a place for us too.

James, Bas didn’t fight in PRIDE, he started in Pancrase and then for a short time in the UFC before injury sidelined him.

Although I’m the first to admit that I’m not down with the internet lingo. Perhaps “n00b” means “person new to this particular interest who I welcome because they appreciate the same thing I do”. I can’t tell :-P
