Cris Cyborg Might Pose for Playboy

Maybe Cris Cyborg is tired of Gina Carano being the face of Women’s MMA. After all, she did pound Carano into oblivion, proving that she is the better fighter. Maybe Cyborg wants to be the face of Women’s MMA. And butt…and legs…and…you get the picture.

According to Sherdog, Cyborg is considering an offer to pose for the men’s magazine.

“Actually we are still talking, and I’m thinking about that possibility,” she said. “After all, only one man saw me naked in my entire life and I have to think deeply about that.”

Cyborg will fight again on Jan. 30 where she’ll face Marloes Coenen in defense of Strikeforce women’s title. I watched Coenen fight live in Chicago at the Fedor vs. Rogers event and she was impressive. Cyborg is not going to have an easy time with the talented submission specialist from the Netherlands. Coenen is much more experienced than Cyborg and Cyborg’s ground game is suspect.

So will Cyborg shed her clothes for the mag?

“I’m pretty much focused on the training,” she said. “I’ve trained so hard to get this belt, I’ll do anything to keep it with me.”

She was recently on the cover of an MMA mag without a top, but turned away from the camera:

I guess time will tell but I’m more interested in seeing her fight than seeing her naked.
