Before Chuck Liddell Went Dancing With the Stars

Who knows if Chuck Liddell makes it back into the cage again? He’s hasn’t won since 2007, has lost 4 of his last 5 fights and UFC president Dana White says he hopes that “The Iceman” retires from MMA.
But I refuse to remember the man that beat Tito Ortiz, Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort and Randy Couture as some guy dancing the Cha Cha Cha. No. Chuck Liddell viciously knocked people out and is one of the greatest MMA fighters of All-Time. Here are a few of my favorite old-school Iceman moments:

i like where you’re going with this article, but you’re inclusion of the paul jones video is just pure highlight, jones was a scrub. Chuck has had so many fantastic battles, the bustmante fight, the mezgar fight from pride, how about wandy vs chuck, two of the best battlers of their day letting it all hang lose in the ring before some very sad losses.
if you want to give him justice, show the people why with proper videos, and the reasons why he is what he is, and why he is whom he was.
Chuck had this ability to stand up, against anyone, better than ANYONE i’ve seen. Even against a game couture in their battles, he was able to always stand up, sans the one match where couture kept him down, proving what a warrior couture was.
Chuck can knock you out walking in any direction, he was doing this before anyone else as well, not only WAS an extremely aggressive fighter, he was also a superb counter fighter. Chuck for a portion of his career was a great enigma to many opponents, many opponents with much more rounded skill sets always had difficulty with chuck.
Chuck behind the mohawk and the bad boy image has made a very respected name for himself as being a super humble guy, who didn’t talk all the shit, who respected his opponents, even the ones he didn’t like, and he never made excuses for his losses.
Thats why I love and will remember Chuck.
Also if Chuck wants to shake a leg on this show for some pretty pennies then why the fuck not?
